Eastreet 4 premiere show is now closed
The premiere show of EASTREET 4 is now officially behind us! Each edition is unique, but this one was the biggest, most evolved so far and it worked out perfectly within the spaces of the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin. Several thousand people visited the exhibition over past weeks. Their response and reviews were amazing, proofing the need of projects like this and the role of photography as a medium of communication.
Once again I would like to say big thank you to all the talented participating photographers, the incredible team of curators: Joanna Kinowska, Aleksander Bochenek, Grzegorz Ostręga, to Bartosz Wójcik and the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures team for their hard work. Special thank you to our partners for their support: Centre for the Meeting of Cultures, Narodowe Centrum Kultury, Lublin City, Idea Studio, Workshopx, The Calvert Journal and doc! photo magazine. Last but not least – to the team of volunteers helping at the gallery!
This is not the end of EASTREET 4 – just a closing of a first chapter. The idea from the beginning is to make a travelling exhibition and share the project with other countries and this will take place over 2018. More details, soon so stay tuned and see you again at EASTREET!

Premierowy pokaz EASTREET 4 jest już oficjalnie za nami! Każda edycja projektu jest unikalna, ale ta była największa oraz najbardziej dojrzała z dotychczasowych i świetnie zagrała w przestrzeniach Centrum Spotkania Kultur w Lublinie. Kilka tysięcy osób odwiedziło wystawę w ciągu minionych tygodni. Ich reakcje i opinie były bardzo pozytywne, co potwierdza wagę tego typu projektów oraz fotografii jako medium komunikacji.
Raz jeszcze chciałbym bardzo podziękować wszystkim uczestniczącym autorom i autorkom, niezastąpionej ekipie kuratorów: Joanny Kinowskiej, Aleksandra Bochenka, Grzegorza Ostręgi, oraz dla Bartosza Wójcika i ekipy CSK za ich ciężką pracę. To nie jest koniec EASTREET 4 – jedynie zamknięcie pierwszego rozdziału. Nasza idea od początku, to tworzenie wystawy podróżującej i dzielenie się projektem z innymi krajami, co nastąpi w 2018 roku. Wkrótce więcej szczegółów, trzymajcie kciuki i do zobaczenia na ponownie na Eastreet!
