Photography of Eastern Europe

Julie Hrudova (1988) is a documentary photographer born in Prague, but now based in Amsterdam. Hrudova is represented by the Hollandse Hoogte agency in The Netherlands.

I like the strangeness of reality. Therefore I tend to photograph daily situations in a different atmosphere. Stealing somebody’s reality and make it my own. The ongoing theme in my work is solitude. I often look for individuals in big cities – isolation in public space intrigues me.
