Born in 1980 in Warsaw, Poland. Studied Applied Social Sciences, Anthropology and Rehabilitation Pedagogy at the Warsaw University. Worked as a staff photographer at newspapers such as. “Rzeczpospolita” and “Dziennik”. In the field of photography I’m interested in man and his emotions both in everyday life and in extraordinary situations. Documented armed conflicts and their consequences in ia. Lebanon, Georgia, Afghanistan, South Sudan. Multiple winner of the Polish press photo contests such as Grand Press Photo, Newsreportaż, BZ WBK Press Photo. The coverage of the armed conflict in Georgia in 2009, received the third prize in the World Press Photo, honorable mention in the competition NPPA and Visa D’or Award News 2009 Award. Since February 2011 I’m working as chief photographer in the Office of the President of the republic of Poland and the President’s personal photographer. Stipendist of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in 2014.
