Documentary photographer of Napo Images Agency based in Poland. Born in 1973 in Warsaw. Graduated in theological studies from the Pope’s Theological Academy in Warsaw, and also from the Yuri Gagarin School of Photography in Warsaw. Polish Press Club member. Stipendist of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in 2012. Participant of the Credit Suisse Masterclass for photojournalists from East-Central Europe, Budapest 2004. Worked for Tygodnik Solidarność weekly magazine, Życie Warszawy newspaper, as well as Życie and Polska daily magazines. Since 2002 he cooperates with the FORUM Polish Photographers Agency. He was awarded many times in press photo contests including Polish Press Photography, Newsreportage, Grand Press Photo, BZ WBK Press Photo. Maciej has organized and conducted photography workshops in Poland and India.
